Network for Soft Mobility in European Tourism
NETS – the Network for Soft Mobility in European Tourism – brings together partners from the tourism, transport, and environmental sectors for the first time. The initiative promotes sustainable, low-impact travel across Europe through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and practical tools.
International Partners & Resources
NETS connects organisations and professionals from across Europe. The English-language section provides access to key resources, project information, and networking opportunities for international stakeholders interested in soft mobility and sustainable tourism.
- Cross-border cooperation between tourism, transport, and environmental partners
- Access to European best practices and case studies
- Information on the European Benchmarking System for reducing environmental costs in accommodation
Benchmarks & Best Practices
The European Benchmarking System helps tourist accommodation providers measure and reduce their environmental impact. International partners can learn from established methodologies and apply them in their own regions. NETS also hosts European conferences and competitions focused on environmentally friendly travel.
